This week, Jason Dundas from Australia's favourite travel show, Getaway spills the beans on what he likes to eat.

Q. Friends unexpectedly drop by and you ask them to stay for dinner. What do you cook?
A.
In a situation like this, I would whip up a stir-fry. They're very quick and easy and you can use just about anything lying around the kitchen.

Q. What dishes are in your repertoire?
A.
Crumbed lamb cutlets, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti bolognese and roast lamb.

Q. What's your favourite Friday night meal and where will you eat it — home or out?
A.
If it's a Friday night-in, definitely chilli jam chicken from the Chilli Club Thai, Narrabeen or Mario's Pizza Place at Taylor Square, Sydney.

Q. For a romantic night in or out, what's on the menu?
A.
For a true romantic dinner, it has to be a meal you can share. I like to order three entrees and just one main between the two of us so we can eat from each other's plate, that way you can get very close and cosy. On the menu is grilled and lots of different with sticky date pudding for dessert.

Q. What food would you quite happily never eat again?
A.
Anything from the sea, I can't stand seafood. It just doesn't work for me.

Q. What's your favourite indulgence food?
A.
Tim Tams crushed into raspberry swirl ice-cream. It's divine.

Q. What's your favourite aisle at the supermarket?
A.
The frozen food section, I'm a sucker for all sorts of quick easy-to-cook food.

Q. What food couldn't you live without?
A.
Chicken schnitzel. I'm crazy for it.

Q. What's your favourite health food?
A.
Apples, oranges, pineapple, strawberries and all sorts of fresh fruit. I get really excited about eating loads of fresh fruit when I get assigned to tropical locations with Getaway.

Q. What dish do you wish you could cook really well?
A.
I wish I could cook better curry dishes.

Q. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A.
It would be chicken schnitzel with a rocket, sweet potato, sun dried tomato and fetta salad. I eat this meal all the time from a café in Collaroy called Taste 2. It's so good!

Q. What's your favourite restaurant?
A.
Café Roma in Kings Cross — the best pizza!

Q. Have you ever eaten with anyone famous?
A.
I had dinner at Catalina's in Rose Bay with a group of people which included Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman.

Q. What's the most memorable meal you've eaten overseas?
A.
Veal schnitzel in Austria, it melted in my mouth.

What's one ingredient you always have in your pantry?
A.
Breadcrumbs.

Q. If you could invite three famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?
A.
Mark Wahlberg, Jeremy Piven from Entourage and Shia Labeouf from Transformers.

Q. What sort of food do you eat when you're stressed with a deadline?
A.
If it has to be quick, you can't go past a take-out pizza!

Q. Does being creative in the workplace mean being creative in the kitchen?
A.
Yeah I believe it does. I get way more pleasure out of preparing and presenting food rather then eating it.
