Ingredients
3 packets of dried cheese and leek soup
1 tablespoon oil
1 kilo of chicken pieces or breast
100g mushrooms, sliced
1 cup of milk
2 cups of water
Preparation method
Empty one packet of soup into a freezer bag with chicken (in batches) and shake gently till the chicken pieces are completely coated with the soup mix.
Heat oil in a fry pan. Brown the coated chicken, then transfer to a medium to large casserole dish. Add mushrooms. Set aside.
Empty the remaining soup packet into the frypan and add 1 cup of water. Keep stirring til smooth. Then add milk and stir til thick. Add more water if it thickens up too much.
Add soup gravy to the chicken, cover and cook for 40 min for breast, or 1 hour for pieces.
Serving suggestion: rice and vegetables.
