Ingredients
375g packet fresh lasagne sheets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
500g pork mince
550g jar favourite pasta sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste
530g jar lasagne sauce
1⁄2 cup grated tasty cheese
1⁄2 cup shredded parmesan
Preparation method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced. Lightly grease a 20cm springform pan. Line base of pan with a lasagne sheet.
2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over moderate heat. Cook onion for 3 minutes until soft. Add pork; cook and stir until brown. Stir in pasta sauce and paste; simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
3. Spread one-fifth of the pork, then onefifth of the lasagne sauce into pan; top with another lasagne sheet. Continue layers four times, ending with lasagne sheets, then sauce. Combine cheeses; sprinkle over top. Bake for 40 minutes until golden. Serve in wedges.
For neat layers, cut lasagne sheets to fit the pan, overlapping pasta pieces slightly to ensure no gaps. For easier cutting, allow the pie to rest for 5 minutes before releasing the spring.
