Ingredients

  • ¼ cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preparation method

NOTE: Makes about 1⁄3 cup.

1. Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Scatter nuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Roast 4-5 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.

2. Combine honey, oil and vinegar in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until honey melts. Add walnuts and heat through. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Serve warm.







TIPS: Serve over wilted spinach as a side dish for pork, or in a warm spinach-and-bacon salad.
