Ingredients

  • 250g sausage meat
  • 250g lean mince meat
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 zucchini, carrot or piece of pumpkin, grated
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ¼ cup cheese, grated (optional)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 packet soup mix (use a different variety each time to vary the flavour)
  • 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce or tomato chutney
  • few sprigs parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder (optional)
  • salt and black pepper, to taste

Preparation method

Mix all ingredients together well and shape into approx 14 rissoles.

Lightly spray a non-stick fry pan with cooking spray and cook rissoles until golden brown.
